Die globale Polykrise hat Auswirkungen bis in die Mikro-Ebene, und wir sind auch als Gestalttherapeut*innen in sie verstrickt. Welche Verantwortung und welche Antworten haben wir in dieser herausfordernden Zeit? Der Autor beschäftigt sich zunächst damit, wie wir und unsere Klient*innen im Therapieraum auf die ökologische Krise reagieren. Anschließend wirft er die Frage auf, wie therapeutisches Wissen angesichts der Zerstörung der Lebensgrundlagen über den Therapieraum hinausreichen kann. Er wirft einen skizzenhaften Blick sowohl auf das Leben in einer krankmachenden Gesellschaft als auch auf hoffnungsvolle Ansätze von Alternativen dazu. Im Ausblick betont er, dass Solidarität, Verbundenheit und systemisches Denken von zentraler Bedeutung sind, um persönliche Antworten für eine lebenswerte Zukunft für alle Lebewesen zu finden und so Verantwortung zu übernehmen.

Global crises – the response-ability of Gestalt therapists? The global polycrisis has repercussions down to the micro level, and as Gestalt therapists we are entangled in it – whether we like it or not. What responsibility and what answers do we have in these challenging times? The author first examines how we and our clients react to the ecological crisis in the therapy room. He then raises the question of how therapeutic knowledge can extend beyond the therapy room in the face of the destruction of the very foundations of life. He takes a brief look at both life in a society that makes people ill and hopeful approaches to alternatives to it. In his outlook, he emphasizes that solidarity, interconnectedness and systemic thinking are of central importance in order to find personal answers for a future worth living for all living beings, and thus be able to take responsibility.
