Dieses Fallbeispiel illustriert eine Langzeitpsychotherapie im ländlichen Raum, wo patriarchale Strukturen immer noch vorherrschen und die Lebensrealitäten von Frauen beeinflussen. Intersubjektive Parallelen zwischen der Klientin und der Therapeutin im Rahmen des therapeutischen Prozesses werden dargestellt sowie das Streben nach Selbstbestimmung und Autonomie. In den verschiedenen Phasen der Therapie entdeckt die Klientin kreative Ressourcen wieder, die sie in ihrem Emanzipationsprozess unterstützen.

»I have the freedom to do what is good for me.« A therapeutic journey of two women in a rural area. This case study illustrates an example of a long-term psychotherapy in a rural area where patriarchal structures are still in place and affect the lives of women. Intersubjective parallels between client and therapist along the therapeutic process are outlined and a striving towards self-determination and autonomy. In the different phases of her therapy the client re-discovers creative resources, which are supporting her emancipation process.
