Zusammenfassung

Der Aufsatz erläutert das Kontakt-Support-Konzept und die komplementäre Verbindung der beiden Begriffe miteinander im Sinne eines Figur-Hintergrund-Prozesses. Die Entstehung des Konzepts ist stark von Kurt Goldstein beeinflusst und basiert auf dessen Ganzheitstheorie des Organismus. Kontaktversuche bei nicht ausreichender Stützung können zu Angst und Erschütterung bis zur Gefährdung der persönlichen Identität führen. Vermeiden oder Unterbrechen von Kontakt wird verständlich als Versuch, diese Gefährdung abzuwenden. Die Bedeutung des Kontakt-Support-Konzepts zeigt sich heutzutage insbesondere in der Behandlung struktureller Störungen.

Laura Perls, contact-support-model and its relevance for Gestalttherapy today. This artide discusses the contact-support-concept and the complementary nature of those two terms. The backcloth to this is the figure-ground-process. The emergence of the concept is strongly influenced by Kurt Goldstein and is based on his holistic theory. Attempts to make contact can, if not sufficiently supported, induce fear and threaten the personal identity. Avoidance and interruptions of contact can thus be understood as an attempt to avoid the danger. The importance of the contact-support-model today is particularly relevant in the treatment of early disturbances.
